The members of Reckless Rebellion are primarily all from small town, KS, USA. Brady Moddelmog hails from Caldwell, at the extreme South-central region of Kansas. Brady attributes his countless hours on the farm, and his many summers on the D&B Johnson Custom Harvest crew, to his vocal style. Brady says, "All the hours in the tractor and semi, singing at the top of my lungs, is where I really feel I developed my voice". Terry Jenkins III, the other founding memeber of RR is from Ashland, KS. Terry provides the impeccable tempo, and the driving beat of the band. The next addition to the band was Jason Mann (Assaria, KS). Jason provides an excitement to the stage, as well as many tasty licks on the piano, and excellent rhythm mandolin that really help shape RR's sound. In June of 2012 the band had an exciting addition. Devin Randel, formerly of the Randell Stueve Band agreed to join and become the bands new lead guitarist and harmony singer. Devin has brought a new life to the band with his obvious love for music, and his ability to add exceptional hooks to the bands original tunes. In August 2012 Bassist Brian Nelson joined the band. RR is very grateful for for the many friends who have helped fill in on bass. Especially former player, and original member JJ Quillin. RR cannot thank JJ and original lead guitarist Weston Klein enough for the 3 years they all played together. Those 3 years helped lay the foundation, and their efforts will never be forgotten.
Reckless Rebellion's sound is constantly evolving as they continue to grow as musicians, performers, and as song writers. Their set list consists of country (both new and old), Red Dirt and Texas Country, some alternative, as well as their original music. Sharing the stage with Artists such as The Casey Donahew Band, The Aaron Watson Band, Clay Walker, Justin Moore, The Low Cash Cowboys, Mark Wills, Josh Gracin, Asleep at the Wheel, Josh Abbott, and Logan Mize among others. As well as winning the 2011 Road To Stampede Competition, and playing on the Main Stage of Country Stampede, followed by many well known artists including Blake Shelton and Brad Paisley. Reckless Rebellion shows their love for "music". Not just Texas Country, or Nashville Country, or alternative styles. They try to blend their originals with songs that everyone will love.
